OC MEET

Every year, Wilson College slips out of its ordinary timeline and starts buzzing with an energy that feels almost supernatural. The lights sharpen, the corridors hum, and the campus sits on the edge of what feels like a dimensional tear. This year, that shift didn’t quietly arrive, it ripped open like a gateway straight out of the Upside Down.

The Organising Committee Meet became the first major portal of OLÉ 2026. The entire OC, charged with talent, adrenaline, walked into the auditorium, unaware they were crossing into a new dimension. The air crackled like the flicker before a Mind Flayer storm.

Before anyone could settle, the Hosts and Fillers Committee stormed in with the force of a portal bursting open. Sharp, hilarious, and commanding, they had the crowd reacting like they were watching Eleven lift the entire auditorium with one flick of her hand.

Hawkins Meets Wilson

The OC Invite Video shifted the room entirely. Foggy frames, red Hawkins-lab lighting, and synth beats transformed Wilson into an Indo-Upside-Down crossover. No Demogorgons; just students in 80s Bollywood glamour, posing like they’d stepped out of a parallel-universe.

The First Glitch: A Flicker of Lashkara

The night opened with the OLÉ Lashkara aftermovie, a reel of neon memories that hit like Eleven launching a Demogorgon across a wall. Students spotted themselves, nudged their friends, and tried not to yell “pause!” Just as the nostalgia peaked, the lights dipped, the kind of fade-out that makes you wonder if something just crawled through the vents.

A Pause in the Chaos

Amid all the noise, the room grounded itself to honour the pillars of OLÉ: I/C Principal Dr. Jamson Masih, Convener Dr. Thomson Fernandes, and Co-Convener Dr. Ananya Bar. Along with the Muktangan faculty and the HODs, they stood as the steady force behind the madness; like the team that keeps Hawkins from collapsing.

The Multiverse-Breaking Moment

And then the twist no one saw coming: the HODs didn’t walk in, they entered like characters returning after a dramatic cliffhanger… and then danced. Full energy, full commitment. If Hawkins had HODs like ours, Vecna would’ve surrendered early.

The Grand Reveal: When the Final Portal Opened

As the evening reached its highest point, the auditorium sank into darkness once again. A final video began rolling, stitched together by multiple departments, layered with suspense, and pulsing with a slow build that felt exactly like standing outside a flickering portal to the Upside Down. The music intensified, the visuals sharpened, and the anticipation curled around the room like creeping black tendrils of the Mind Flayer.

With that reveal, Wilson College didn’t simply launch OLÉ; it shattered the barrier between the ordinary and the unreal. The energy in the room felt like the ground trembling before a Vecna showdown; intense, inevitable, and transformative; except this time, we weren’t running up that hill to escape.

We were running straight into the dream.

OLÉ 2026 wasn’t just unveiled. It awakened.
